AquaproofX® 1 PLUS is an internal water bar, one-sided coated over the entire surface for fast, simple and reliable sealing of construction and crack inducing joints.
Uses
The internal water bar has an adherent, reactive polymer coating on one of its side. This coating has to be positioned towards the waterside. With AquaproofX® 1 PLUS NO protection foil needs to be removed! An especial concrete contact foil will effectively prevent the AquaproofX® 1 PLUS sheets or rolls to stick together during transport and storage. The concrete contact foil will dissolve automatically after the concrete pour. Due to the special type of connection with the concrete, an insertion of only 3 cm in the first concrete section is sufficient.
How does the whole thing work?
During the curing process, the adhesive coating on the one side of the waterstop bonds with the fresh concrete, after the especial concrete contact foil has dissolved. In this way, the construction joints remain impermeable at all times, even when movements occur inside the joint.
AquaproofX® 1 PLUS was successfully tested with the highest water pressure provided according to the test criteria with maximum joint expansioneprüft.
